The National Emergency Committee has decided that the persons whose homes have been affected by the floods in Suceava and Neamț counties will receive emergency financial support, the Government announced in a statement issued on Thursday night.
The amounts were established in the meeting convened on Thursday night by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan.
“People whose homes have been completely or partially destroyed or have been affected by recent hydrometeorological phenomena produced in Suceava and Neamț counties will receive emergency financial support, the National Emergency Committee (CNSU) established in the meeting convened this evening by the Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan,” the Government said.
According to the Government, financial aid will be granted as follows:
- 15,000 lei for each housing affected in less than 75%;
- 25,000 lei for each housing affected in more than 75%;
- 30,000 lei for each house destroyed in full.
At the same time, the families of the people who lost their lives due to the floods produced between July 27-28, 2025 in Suceava and Neamț will receive 15,000 lei each.
What Ilie Bolojan said
The prime minister sent a message of solidarity to the citizens affected by the floods.
“We are solidarity with our citizens who have to suffer because of the floods. We will stay with them and support them to overcome this attempt. The intervention teams remain in the field as needed, we are in permanent contact with the local authorities to provide the help that people need,” said Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, quoted in the Government.
The government mentioned in conclusion that for the persons affected by the floods were sent to the respective localities, drinking water, clothing, modular housing, diesel and products of strict necessity.
