As Axios writes, Steve Witkoff is to go to Israel on Wednesday to discuss the crisis in gas. This is his first journey to Israel for almost three months, and it comes to the fiasco of talks about the suspension of weapons in the Gaza Strip and against the background of the increasing humanitarian crisis in this territory.
According to American officials, on which the portal cites, Witkoff can also visit the food distribution points financed by the US Foundation Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, where many times Israeli soldiers shot people in a crowd gathering for food packages.
– The president wants to know more about the humanitarian situation in Gaza to learn how to provide more help to civilians in gas – said one of the cited officials.

In recent days, Donald Trump has repeatedly concerned about the Palestinian situation, calling the situation a hunger defeat. He also announced that the US would provide more food and said that he would press Israel to increase help. During his visit to Scotland on Monday, he announced the creation of new food distribution centers together with other partners, although so far the details of this initiative are not clear.
