On August 1, the traffic police will hold a large -scale raid “Driver state control” in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

From Friday evening, additional traffic police crews will bring to the most emergency road sections. They will be focused on suppressing gross violations of traffic rules, including the identification of drunk drivers, with the participation of which 171 accidents have already occurred since the beginning of the year, in which 211 people were injured and 41 died.
Strengthening control will be not only on lively federal and regional roads, but also in summer cottages and rural areas – there inspectors will identify violations committed by drivers of motorcycles and other seasonal vehicles.
Particular attention will be paid to working with minor drivers. This year, this year fell into 32 accidents, as a result of which 32 children were injured and one died.
The traffic police explained that the conduct of such raids helps to reduce the number of traffic violations and prerequisites for their commission:
“The main goal of the event is to increase the level of safety on the roads, a decrease in accident rate, as well as maintaining the life and health of all road users.”
