“To prepare lecho, you will need 1.5 kg of sweet pepper, 1 kg of ripe tomatoes and a little garlic. From tomatoes, we first prepare the sauce, in which we are extinguished by chopped pepper. Lecho made of pepper in tomato sauce is prepared quickly and simple. If there are no fresh tomatoes, they can safely be replaced with 700-800 ml of finished tomato juice,” the site says.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 kg of sweet pepper;
- 1 kg of tomatoes;
- two cloves of garlic;
- 60 g of sugar;
- 10 ml of vinegar;
- 80 ml of vegetable oil;
- six peas of pepper;
- Salt, spices to taste.
Cooking
- Make cuts on tomatoes and transfer to a bowl. Pour boiling water for 10 seconds, then remove the skin and chop in a blender.
- Cut the pepper into the strips, remove the core. Pass the garlic through the press.
- Pour tomato sauce from tomatoes to a pan, bring to a boil, add salt, sugar, paprika, vinegar, vegetable oil, pepper and garlic.
- Stir and add pepper. Bring to a boil and turn off the fire.
- Put the lecho into sterilized jars, tighten and turn them over until completely cool.
