A cargo plane with Russians on board was shot down in the west of Sudan. The rebels from the previously pro -government militarized organization of rapid response forces took responsibility.
One of the dead is the chief engineer of the Airline Transport Incorporation FZC Viktor Granov. Previously, there were several more colleagues with him. The embassy of the Russian Federation said that they are in contact with the local authorities and find out all the details of what happened.
The situation is complicated by the fact that the crash area is in Darfur covered by the battles.
