Putin blamed the West for a tragedy in Beslan. The expert recalls the former conversation

James Nixey was to meet the Russian dictator in person, and the topic of their conversation was the attack on the school in Beslan. It was the most bloody event of this type in the history of Russia. Over 330 people were killed in an attack organized by Chechen terrorists, including many children. Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with Nixey, was to blame on an attack of not terrorists but the West. Already then, according to the expert, he was who he was today. Nixey in an interview with Channel24 emphasized that Putin did not change radically either after the Munich speech in 2007 or after the war in Georgia in 2008.
Expert: This is not “Putin's War”
Vladimir Putin's policy remained ultra -specific and repressive, and he, according to the expert, is “devoid of compassion, warmth and any humanity”, although at the same time he is “smart and competent”. It was visible during the meeting two decades ago.
– He is who he was – a conservative ultra -highlight, raised by the KGB, or psychopath. Putin is a sociopath – emphasized James Nixey in channel 24.
The expert also commented on the ongoing war in Ukraine. In his opinion, Moscow has long had a plan to destroy Ukraine and “he has been doing it for at least 20 years, if not longer”. The war has many dimensions – not only military, but also diplomatic, economic, cybernetic and information. “If Russia fails to conquer Ukraine, she will try to destroy it,” he said in an interview with Channel 24. He also denied the opinions cited by the journalist that this is “Putin's war”. – The Russian society itself believes that Russia has the right to be an empire – he emphasized.
