Nearly 900 people, evacuated to Neamț County

The floods seriously affected the localities of Farcașa, Borca and Poiana Teiului, from Neamț county, as a result of the establishment of the Red Hydrological Code on the Bistrița river.

In order to protect the population in the areas exposed to risk, the authorities ordered the preventive evacuation of 890 persons. Of these, 760 come from Farcașa, 100 from Borca and 30 from Poiana Teiului. The evacuated persons were relocated either to relatives or in spaces provided by the local authorities.
