Former Deputy Minister of Energy Anatoly Yanovsky was detained in Moscow. Previously, he is in interrogation in the theft case.
Yanovsky was the Deputy Minister of Energy until 2021, supervised the coal industry and international activities. He worked in the Ministry of Energy for more than 20 years. Recently, he served as the first vice president of the Academy of Mine Sciences.
In the near future, a petition will come to the court to choose a preventive measure.
