A new river with the name Golomokon was officially applied to the map of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The emergence of a new object in the catalog was reported in the regional Federal Cartography Service.
The river is located in the north of the region, in the Evenki municipal district. Its length – 25 kilometers. Golomokon is the right tributary of the Chirind-Khon River, belongs to the Yenisei Basynoye District, enters the river basin Hatang and the Podbasin Kotui.
As explained in the department, the inclusion of the name in the register “confirms the official status of hydronym and ensures its correct use in cartography, documents and scientific research.”
