The decision to conclude a fictitious contract to mask the bribe that the company gave to an ANAF inspector of the wrong one and no other company in Romania should resort to “the bribe for survival” or the one “for enrichment”, said Dragoș Anastasiu in the press conference in which he announced his resignation.

In the press conference he held alone, in the Government, Anastasiu claimed that “there are two types of spikes”: “There are survival and enrichment and, from my point of view, the work was from the survival area.”

“It would be a misfortune if this would happen,” Dragoș Anastasiu replied immediately before he motivated his decision in 2008.
