– It is very important for society to speak. I respect the opinion of society. I think it's completely normal that people react when they don't want something when they don't like something – Zelanski told journalists during a briefing in Kiev.
He emphasized that people have the right to say what they think. – People said that everything must be lawful. It was very important for me to listen to their voice and react properly. People demanded changes. We reacted to it – he said.
– We want to be part of Europe. Nobody wants to take risks. I calmed down all our partners. For example, we talked about Ramstein format and many other issues. As for Nabu and SAP, I said [partnerom]that I will find a solution, ”said Zelanski.

– Currently, the main challenge is war. And the most important in this war is the unity of our state. We cannot lose this unity. You have to listen to people and conduct a dialogue – said Zelanski.
– Anti -corruption agencies must be really independent. At the same time, they must respond to public demands on justice. They must act effectively and supervise what is happening in their structures – he added.
“A signal that cannot be ignored”
Now the same Ukrainian legislators who at the beginning of this week voted for the abolition of NABI and SAP independence, will have to gather at an extraordinary meeting and vote for the new Zelanski act.
Protesters, who completed the streets of Ukrainian cities this week, claim that they will not give up until the deputies change their decision. Some MPs have already admitted that they made a mistake.
“Yes, I voted for this act. It was a difficult decision, made in a short term and with limited information. At the same time, which was expressed and recognized by many, the effectiveness of the system in recent years raised many doubts” – emphasized in the statement of Tamiła Taszewo, a deputy of the opposition political party Głos.
“Now it is clear that not the whole process has been properly coordinated. The bill in a version subjected to voting caused anxiety not only among society, but also among international partners. This is a signal that cannot be ignored” – added Taszewa.
The legislators are to gather to vote on the presidential bill this Thursday, July 31.
