Rebellion in the Zelanski party. Unofficial reports

According to three sources, which is referred to by the British daily, 70 parliamentarians from the Servant of the People's Party expressed concern before Tuesday's vote, including several of them even considering submitting fines. “People are afraid of unfair accusations that may appear as part of the revenge of prosecutors,” said one of the leading politicians from the presidential parliamentary faction.
Another newspaper interlocutor, one of the party leaders, said that the fear of retaliation appeared after the publication of an interview with the head of the Special Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP). Under the new law SAP and the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) are to be subject to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, which, according to many, will limit the autonomy of these agencies.
On Thursday, in an interview with the Ukrainian public broadcaster, the suspicion head of SAP Oleksandr Kłymeny, said that his organization “collects all information” about how the original law was created and how the voting went. – We will analyze all situations, events, statements, all accusations, claims at our address. Until the smallest details – he announced in an interview. – We will restore the chronology of events a second after a second and present an analysis of all this – he added.
Kłymenko in the statement provided on Friday of the editorial office of “FT” stated that “Only people involved in corruption procedures have reasons to be afraid of Nab and SAP”. He emphasized that both agencies “have never been involved in political persecution.” “All investigations conducted by Nabu and SAP are based solely on facts and evidence, and not in political positions or votes of MPs,” he added.

According to the head of SAP, “independence of anti -corruption institutions is not a threat, but one of the key guarantees of justice, rule of law and further democratic development of Ukraine.”
The chairman of Parliament Ruslan Stefanczuk announced on Friday that the new bill will be considered at the meeting on July 31. As “FT” noted in connection with the appearance in doubts whether the appropriate number of deputies will collect to vote, its consideration may be postponed.
The original bill was adopted on Tuesday by 263 votes; 226 votes are needed to adopt the law by the Supreme Council.
