Photo problems in eight counties against the background of the country. Torn roofs, flooded courtyards, fallen pillars and damaged cars

The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) announced on Saturday night that today's hydrometeorological phenomena have produced effects in 27 localities in Bihor, Caraș-Severin, Cluj, Dolj, Hunedoara, Sibiu, Sălaj and Timiș.

In these areas, according to IGSU, the operative crews intervened to evacuate the water from three courts, two cellars, to remove some construction elements from the roofs of 10 buildings, as well as for the release of two electricity pillars and 22 collapsed trees, being damaged eight vehicles.

IGSU said that significant effects were recorded in:

  • Timiș County, Timișoara, where a 29 -year -old man was hit by a fallen tree, being transported to the hospital, aware of different traumas and injuries. At the same time, during a festival that takes place at the “Traian Vuia” International Airport Timișoara were received requests to provide medical aid for 11 people – five of them, conscious, slightly injured, were transported to the hospital. The other six victims, with a panic and dislocation attack, refused transport to the hospital.
  • Caraș-Severin county, Topleț, where a fire, caused by lightning, at a hay, extended to a house.
  • Dolj County, Calafat, where roof elements hit a car in which a person was. Following the medical evaluation, the person suffered a panic attack and refused transport to the hospital.

IGSU said that at present, no blocked persons or medical emergencies are not reported that cannot be solved due to weather phenomena. There are no interruptions in the power supply.

At the time of reporting, there are unfolding interventions to remove the hydrometeorological effects in Caraș-Severin and Hunedoara counties.

Roof torn by vijelie to Hunedoara

The Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Hunedoara announced that in the context of the county firefighters within the Hunedoara, Deva and Brad subunits, they intervened to manage the following situations:

  • In the municipality of Hunedoara, the roof of a block was torn, and the trees fallen in different areas of the city, damaged five cars.
  • In the municipality of Deva, two other cars were damaged, also because of the fallen trees.
  • Also, in the localities of Ciungani, Zlaști and Băcia, the fallen trees partially blocked the roads, until the arrival of the operative crews, which will act for the segmentation of the trees and the release of the wood material.

According to ISU Hunedoara, there are no wounded from the vijections. Until 24 o'clock, the county is subject to the Orange Code of atmospheric instability and vigils.

At the level of ISU Hunedoara, the operative group is activated and it has been increasing the intervention capacity, to act promptly in support of the community, the institution said.
