During the exercises, patrol boats detected the sea drones of the “opponent”, moving towards the Ruthenian bridge. “Mi-8 and KA-27PS helicopters with anti-terrorist groups immediately started from the airports, which with the help of shooting weapons immobilized the unmanned motor boat,” Tof informed. Other unmanned sea ships were liquidated by the FPV's shock drones, which started from the deck of one of the TOF ships.
In addition, according to the announcement of the Ministry of Defense, the “boring” corvette launched an anti -diabetical missile towards the underwater training purpose in the Pacific.
The day before the start of the exercises, the ministry announced the start of the “July Storm” operation, in which the forces of Russia's maritime fleet participate in the waters of the Pacific, the Arctic Ocean, as well as the Baltic and Caspian Seas. Over 150 combat ships and auxiliary ships, 120 aircraft, 10 coastal rocket complexes, 950 units of military and special equipment, and over 15,000, participate in the exercises, which will last until July 27. soldiers.
The authorities will check, among others, the readiness of fleets to “solve unusual operational tasks, comprehensive use of the precise weapons of long -range, unmanned systems, prospective and modern weapon and military technique patterns,” said the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
