Blackout is a sudden and unforeseen interruption in the supply of electricity. Such an event – especially if it is long -lasting – is very dangerous and may be associated with with huge losses for many branches of the economy. At the beginning of July in Czech Prague and several other cities there was several hours of power failure. A metro stood in the Czech capital, trams, trains did not ride, and people got stuck in elevators. At the end of April, Blackout also occurred in Spain and Portugal. The recommendations were prepared together with PSE and it was approved by the Economic Committee of the Council of Ministers.

Wrochna, when asked about the key PSE recommendation, announced that it is remodeling the operation of KSE (the national power system), so that the transmission system operator, i.e. PSE, has a “full set of knowledge” about what is happening in the system. – Today, a lot of manufacturing and receiving installations are connected to the network of distribution operators and this really limits the possibility of ongoing informing and taking action. The point is that the operator does not take action based on what he sees, what is happening in the system, only on the basis of what he knows that he will happen in the system – said the attorney. He added that it was That the renewable energy restriction can be planned and coordinated better so that the system works safer and more economically.

Activities under the antiblackout package are to be legislative and extra -toe.

Miłosz Motyk added that the most urgent task will be the issue of energy prices. Freezing prices is provided for in the novella of the so -called windmill act. In addition to the regulations regarding the construction of wind turbines, the Act contains a provision introduced during the parliamentary work, extending for the fourth quarter of this year. freezing of the price of electricity for households at the level of PLN 500 per MWH net. Last week, the Senate reported amendments to it; This week they are to be voted by the lower parliamentary chamber.

The future Minister of Energy added that in autumn the connection package is to be sent to the Sejm. He emphasized that the proposed regulations are already after inter -ministerial arrangements, and their general purpose will be to facilitate and accelerate procedures related to joining the power network.

According to unofficial PAP information, issues related to heating would also be sent to the new energy department. Motyk, when asked about it, confirmed that “some of the issues related to this area” would go to the new ministry.

Motyka, when asked about personal details in the ministry, headed by, he replied that it is too early to inform about it for now. (PAP)
