Bogdan Ivan notified the Prosecutor's Office in the case of the building on Oltenita Road, for which the Ministry of Economy “received” zero lei, for 18 years
The Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, announced that, as a former Minister of Economy, he notified the Prosecutor's Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice in relation to the irregularities found on the building on Oltenita Road, under the administration of the ministry. For the building, no rent has been paid for years. Although the Ministry of Economy has requested the evacuation of the space, those who occupy it refused, and the evacuation can be carried out only by a court decision.

In a post published on Facebook on Thursday, July 24, the minister presented the chronology of the steps initiated by the ministry in this case:
“- March 2025- I received the report of the Court of Accounts, which reported serious irregularities;
– April 2025 – I sent the minister's control body on the spot;
– June 2025 – With the completion of the control report, I ordered, on June 2, the notification of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice ”, writes Bogdan Ivan.
Bogdan Ivan stressed that he applied concrete decisions to remedy the situation. He also stated that although the Ministry of Economy asked to evacuate the space, “Those who occupy him refused to leave,” Thus, the evacuation can be carried out only by a court decision.

An office building with 54 functional spaces, located in the patrimony of the Ministry of Economy, was illegally rented for 18 years, without the state collecting any leu.
“Maybe you have heard of stolen with the bag, trailer or trunk … But with the whole building? That's sure. I was told not to break the buba, to leave them as others so far. I send one message: excluded! (…) How was it possible? Simple: because you have allowed them. The Minister of Economy, Radu Miruţă transmitted.
