The mayor of Galaţi, Ionuţ Pucheanu (PSD) told the first news about the discussions from the Government, with the prime minister and the ministers, on the investments in Anghel Saligny, that there is no money and the amounts that the Ministry of Development has at the moment are only 500 million lei. The PSD vice -president and the mayor of Galaţi, Ionuţ Pucheanu said in the Political Romania show from the First News, about the decision taken in the coalition in the investments in the Anghel Saligny program, that it is “much more correct, much more logical”.

“The degrees that were communicated to us, we were not consulted on them, only we were informed on Monday that on the street side, on Anghel Saligny, if you do not have payment, that is, already successful attracting the funds to the builders, at a minimum of 80%, any form of payment is stopped, and on the other components of the Anghel Salign, a minimum of 6%, Galati.

He also drew attention to the pressure on the builders. “If everything is blocked at the moment, as it is desired, then in the next two months, you will see a lot of construction companies that either close their doors, or will have to unemployment.

Asked what the prime minister and the Government responded, the mayor of Galaţi replied: “There is no money”. Ionuţ Pucheanu also stated that “the amounts that the Ministry of Development has at the moment for future payments are only 500 million lei”.

About the guarantees that independent mayors can receive from other parties, that their projects will be a priority, in the conditions of the decision to go to the CJ president and the prefect, Pucheanu replied: “I will be honest, they have no guarantee. Asked if the PSD could get out of the government or stay in this coalition, Pucheanu replied: “I think the stay in government is the first option. The government is not excluded, but, indeed, I think not only a line, but more lines, because we are not in the position to take our play.”
