Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski returns to Poland. We know the exact date


Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski will fly to Poland on Thursday-Polsa confirmed on Tuesday. At 11 at the Chopin Airport in Warsaw there will be an official welcome to the Polish astronaut, followed by a press conference.

From July 16, the Polish astronaut has been in Cologne, where the headquarters of the European Center of ESA Astronauts is located. At the center of the German Aeronautics and Space Center (DLR) “Envihab”, he undergoes rehabilitation after a 20-day stay in space as part of the Ignis mission, and ESA space medicine team monitors his health and condition.
A Pole with astronauts from other countries returned to the greenery on July 15. The AX-4 crew spent 18 days at the space station, and in space a total of 20 days (including travel to the I ISS).

The Polish astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski stated after returning from the international space station that “we have an amazing enormity of work to perform to use this mission and build our future.”
“I am convinced that we have an amazing enormity of work to do. (…) I come back with my head full of ideas on how to use this mission and build our future. I think real work is just beginning” – he said.
Ignis said about the mission that this is probably the most difficult challenge in his life.
“This is probably the most difficult challenge in my life, which I had to face. The most difficult, but also the most important and most valuable experience of my life,” he noted.
When asked about how he assesses his health after returning from space, he replied: “Okay, even very good. I can't complain about anything“.
