“The purpose of the changes made by the Tivi Foundation in the bodies of Cyfrowy Polsat, Telewizja Polsat, Polkomtel and Netia is to improve supervision over the key companies of the Foundation,” said Tivi Foundation. It is an entity based in Liechtenstein, to which almost the entire Empire of Zygmunt Solorz belongs.
In the evening, a lawyer representing Zygmunt Solorz first referred to the matter and presented a statement on behalf of the businessman. It talks about “lawlessness” and a declaration that “changes will be appealed immediately”.

Zygmunt Solorz's children also spoke. “Decisions taken by the TIVI Foundation, as an independent subject, receive the children of Zygmunt Solorz with understanding and respect. PLY interpret these decisions differently than as an expression of a deep concern for the foundation with possible activities in Poland that could reduce assets – a clear motivation is to protect assets” – it was written in a statement.
They add that the resolution was adopted by the Council of the Foundation unanimously, which – in their opinion – indicates a deep conviction of the need to take these steps.
“In the hope of stabilizing the situation in the group, you can pick up the nominations of people who were indicated to perform supervisory and management roles – managers with very extensive experience were selected, knowing the group. These are nominations focused on the interest of companies and calming the situation” – wrote the children of Zygmunt Solorz.

In turn, their representative Paweł Rymarz rejects the allegations of defective personal decisions in these companies.
“We understand that the Foundation Council (which includes an experienced lawyer from Liechtenstein appointed by the court in this country) unanimously recognized that the actions of Mr. Solorz's proxies are directly aimed at the interests of the Tivi Foundation, and as a result, they allow the dismissal of Mr. Solorz from the function of the chairman of the supervisory boards of Polish companies,” he wrote.
“Submit in the Tivi Foundation statute that it can perform these functions for life, they cease to protect him when he actively occurs against the interests of the Foundation and puts himself in a situation of conflict of interest. We are in possession of the legal opinion of lawyers from Liechtenstein in this regard, “he added.
In the opinion of Paweł Rymarz, the Tivi Foundation was to make changes to the positions of the chairman of supervisory boards and the president of the boards, because at the moment they are not limited by any decisions of the courts in Liechtenstein, Cyprus or Poland.
