Sławomir Nitras announced that this week he would end as the Minister of Sport in the Polish government. He informed about his departure in the post and video material on the X. platform.

“This week my service ends in the government of the Republic of Poland. Everyone with whom my fate has encountered, especially athletes – low bows and thanks. It was an honor and great pleasure,” wrote the Civic Platform politician.

Nitras began to act as the head of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism in December 2023, replacing Danuta Dmowska-Andrzejuk.

This is one of the changes in the planned reconstruction of the government. Prime Minister Donald Tusk is to be announced on Wednesday at 10 o'clock (PAP)
