Contradictory reports on an attack on the Russian explosive factory

Kowanekow said that this plant is one of the largest Russian producers of materials used for the production of explosives, including chemicals such as benzene, phenol and acetone, which are used for the production of artillery shells, air bombs and rockets.

However, Russian officials presented a different version of events. Governor of the Samarski District Vyacheslav Fedoriszczew said that Ukrainian drones tried to attack the industrial area, but were destroyed by Russian air defense.

He also claims that there were no victims or damage as a result of this attack. However, the Russian authorities briefly limited access to mobile internet in its region, claiming that this would help military units in more effective control of enemy drones.
