On Wednesday and Thursday, there will be a reconstruction of the government, two new large ministries will be created: one responsible for the economy, the other for the energy – said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitization Krzysztof Gawkowski on Monday. Even today, a meeting of leaders of coalition groups is to take place.

The reconstruction of the government will be carried out on Wednesday and Thursday, and the changes have already been agreed. The Monday meeting of party leaders included in the government coalition is to be devoted to the form of communicating changes – said Gawkowski (Nowa Left) on Monday on Radio ZET.

The deputy head of the government indicated that the reconstruction was planned for two days. – Because you have to announce, and two constitutionally conduct and appoint ministers by the president – he noted.

The deputy prime minister announced that in the reconstructed government there will be two large departments resulting from the merger of the existing ones. – One very large, will be responsible for economic matters, and the other for matters important for today for the country, i.e. energy – he pointed out.

Gawkowski did not answer how many ministers the reconstructed Council of Ministers would count. – I think that some ministers will end their office without portfolio, some will be moved to the positions of secretaries or Undersecretaries of State in ministries. In some departments there will be a change at the personal level.

The minister of digitization also referred to plans to introduce digital tax. In Gawkowski's opinion, this will most likely only in 2027. – He must be apologized not only at the Ministry of Digitization. The consent of the Economic Committee of the Council of Ministers is also needed – he noted.

According to Gawkowski, the tax is to be between 3 and 6 percent. revolutions. The minister announced that he would talk about details with corporate representatives. – If they disagree, I will ask why they agreed in other countries.
