Six months after Donald Trump's return to the White House, the severe policy against the American president has lost the support of most Americans, according to data from two polls published on Sunday, informs France Presse.
According to a survey commanded by CNN, 55% of the questionnaires believe that the expulsions of immigrants by the Trump administration “go too far”. It is an increase of 10 points compared to a similar survey of February.
Most respondents – 57% declare themselves against tens of thousands of places in detention centers, compared to only 26%, who agree.
Another survey, conducted by the TV CBS station, shows that 56% of those questioned believe that the Trump administration targets immigrants who are not “dangerous criminals”, compared to 47%, a month ago.

Donald Trump has made the fight against illegal immigration one of the priorities of the second term and supports a tough line since his return to power in January.
In a message published on the SA TRUTH Social Platform, the president congratulated it to “completely relaunch a large country” in just six months.
“A year ago, our country was dead, almost hopeless. Today, the United States is the most respected country in the world,” wrote Donald Trump.
