A 37-year-old miner died after an accident, which occurred in the Polkowice-Sieroszowice copper mine, and two others are slightly wounded. Rock masses took place on Saturday evening. A three -day mourning was announced – said KGHM spokesman Artur Neecki on Sunday.
A spokesman for KGHM Artur Newecki informed PAP that the body of a 37-year-old miner was found, who was sought since the accident.
“Unfortunately, a fatal accident turned out to be. The family of 37 -year -old Górnik is expressed in sympathy. A three -day mourning was also announced,” said the company's representative.
He added that earlier at night, two other miners who had an accident with slight injuries that did not go to the hospital.
The causes and circumstances of the accident will be examined by a special commission.
On Saturday evening, just after 21 at the Polkowice-Sieroszowice mining plants in the GG-3 region, rock masses were hit in a cleaned retention reservoir. Three employees were in the Dzienień region. (PAP)
