Portuguese dissatisfied with democracy in the country. A new survey has been published

Over 51 percent The participants of the survey replied that they were dissatisfied with the state of democracy in Portugal initiated over 50 years ago with a bloodless revolution of cloves.
Less than 38 percent UCP participants found that they are “moderately satisfied with democracy” in Portugal, and only 8 percent. It indicated that they are “very satisfied”. 3 percent The participants of the survey answered “I don't know” or refused to answer.
Possible reasons for the survey were indicated
The study was commissioned by RTP public television in order to assess social satisfaction with the quality of “Portuguese democracy” after five decades from the revolution of cloves.
As the authors of the survey indicate, its results are proof of the dissatisfaction of the Portuguese more from the native political class “exercising democratic power” than from the democratic system as such. For 87 percent The respondents, despite the shortcomings of Portuguese democracy, are the best possible power systems.
