The plane flew from Moscow to Egypt with a five-meter “tail”: when flying out of Sheremetyevo, someone forgot to reject a cable from it
Upon the arrival of Boeing 737 from Moscow to Hurghada Airport at an interperson inspection, ground staff discovered his protruding five -meter extraneous wire. As it turned out, this is a cable used for grounding when refueling fuel. He was forgotten to removing techniques before departure from the metropolitan airport.
The plane did not be removed from the flights – the “tail” itself was unhooked, and the aircraft commander decided to execute the return flight. Upon the return of the side to Sheremetyevo during an additional inspection, the staff found damage to the main material on the fuselage in the form of numerous chips, scratches and impaired paintwork.
The Federal Air Transport Agency qualified this event in the aviation incident and began to investigate it.
