The British royal train commutes to the final station. Here are the reasons

The current British royal train, decorated with rich burgundy colors, will be withdrawn from operation until March 2027 to “ensure the best value for public money”, in accordance with the latest Royal Household financial report. Instead, members of the royal family will use helicopters and regular trains more often during official visits throughout the country and to travel between their residences in England and Scotland.

Nowhere else, this loss will not be felt more severely than in the world's first railway city, Wolverton in Buckinghamshire, where royal trains are carefully stored and maintained since the first vehicle in 1842.
