The world leader Aryna Sabalenka (27 years old) took 2 hours and one minute to defeat Emma Răducanu (22, #40 WTA) in round 3 in Wimbledon, score 7-6 (6), 6-4.
The main favorite will face the next round with the player in Belgium, Elise Mertens (29, #23 WTA).

Emma Răducanu started the match better and had the first break ball from the first range, but Sabalenka managed to save her and prevail on her own service.

Emma Răducanu leaves the Wimbledon tournament in the third round, the largest career performance on London grass being the access to the fourth tour, in 2021.
Sabalenka stays in the race for Wimbledon, the only Grand Slam tournament that has never reached the final.
