After finishing the second in the first training session before the Britain's big prize, Lando Norris (25 years old) finished first at the end of the second training session in Silverstone, being the only one under 1:26 along a tour.

  • The Grand Prize of Great Britain, the 12th race this year, will take place on Sunday, at 5:00 pm in Romania;

  • The formula 1 race from Silverstone can be seen on Antena 1.

The McLaren pilot registered a time of 1: 25,816 during the qualification simulations from the middle of the session, giving Charles Leclerc with 0.222 seconds. Lewis Hamilton, the winner of the first training session, completed the provisional podium, with a gap of 0.301 seconds. However, the two pilots from Ferrari set the best times in the second round of soft tires, while Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri carried out a single fast tour with them.

Lando Norris, victorious in the second training session from Silverstone

The leader of the ranking in Formula 1, Piastri, remained in fourth place, at 0.470 seconds behind his teammate, Norris. In the fifth place was Max Verstappen, with a time with 0.498 seconds weaker than Norris.

After them, Kimi Antonelli, Lance Stroll, George Russell, Isaac Hadjar and Liam Lawson followed, completing the first 10 positions at the end of the second hours of training on Silverstone, according to Sportal.bg.

After Pierre Gasly and Gabriel Bentleto's decoration outings from the first training sessionin the second there was only one more tense moment.

Carlos Sainz skidd at the exit of Luffield, quickly finding that the Spanish error was due to a sudden gust of wind, which led to the loss of monopost control. During the skid, Sainz was very close to Hamilton, but fortunately no contact was produced, both pilots continuing their participation in the session.

The weekend of the Grand Prize of Great Britain, the 12th stage of season 2025 of Formula 1, continues tomorrow, at 2:30 pm, with the third free training session on Silverstone.
