American business with business: US commitment to Romania is unwavering

The US business task, Michael Dickerson said that the American side wants to “strengthen the solid relations” with Romania, on Wednesday, during the reception organized by the embassy on the occasion of the United States Independence, Agerpres reports.
The US commitment to Romania is unwavering, the diplomat said.
“The strategic partnership between the United States and Romania has prospered over three decades. Our partnership is based on common democratic values, on commitment to mutual economic growth, in the field of trade and energy cooperation, in the field of security and defense, as well as on deep and durable human links,” said Michael Dickerson.
Dickerson mentioned that the US was last year the fourth investor in Romania.
“This year we hope to be the third,” he continued.
The American businessman has also spoken about the US desire to strengthen bilateral relationships.
“In the context of the efforts made by President Trump to make America safer, stronger and more prosperous, we want to strengthen our solid and common history,” added Michael Dickerson, who also mentioned the bilateral collaboration in the military field.
President Nicușor Dan, and Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, participated in the reception at the US Embassy in Bucharest.
“This special relationship with the United States remains one of the main pillars of our external policy. The United States are the most important ally and strategic vital partner of Romania. Romania and the United States have several areas of consolidated cooperation, but our partnership nucleus remains the common commitment to the security and prosperity of our Euro -Atlantic community,” said Nicușor Dan.
