The regional department of Rospotrebnadzor Krasnoyarsk was told how to properly wash vegetables, fruits and berries.
Greens requires special attention. It must be thoroughly sorted, remove the roots, damaged and yellowed parts, and then soaked in cool water for 15 minutes. For better cleansing of pathogenic microbes and eggs of helminths, you can hold the greens for 30 minutes in a saline or vinegar solution, and then beicated.
Cherry, cherries, currants and other berries must also be sorted out in order to get rid of crumpled and rotten. Then you should put them in a colander and rinse under running water. Before this, you can soak the strawberries for 5-10 minutes in cool water in order to better wash off the rest of the earth.
Root crops should be soaked in warm water. At the same time, you need to clean them thoroughly and exclusively with the brush, and then rode. Color cabbage and broccoli before washing must be divided into inflorescences and remove darkened areas, with white – remove the leaves.
Wash vegetables and fruits only 2-3 minutes, but with a brush, and then rode in boiled water.
However, remember that all your efforts will be in vain if you eat clean fruits and vegetables with dirty hands. Do not forget about the basic rules of hygiene.
