The Secretariat of the Regional Committee of the CPSU considered the issue “about the practice of carrying out uniform days of political information in the labor collectives of Birobidzhan in the light of the resolution of the XXIII regional party conference.” The adopted resolution noted that in the labor groups of Birobidzhan, some positive experience of the monthly conduct of uniform days of political information was accumulated. The attention of the Birobidzha City Committee of the CPSU was drawn to further improve the production of political informing in small labor groups, youth dormitories, on campaigning, improving the quality and efficiency of political information.

The Plenum of the regional committee of the CPSU approved the resolution of the May (1982) Plenum of the Central Committee of the CPSU “On the food program of the USSR for the period until 1990 and measures to implement it” and defined the tasks of the regional party organization for its implementation.
“The measures approved by the decisions of the Plenum to improve management and the management mechanism are of great importance for the development of the productive forces of the village, the entire agro-industrial complex. In their scale, the depth of influence on the socio-economic development of agriculture, they represent the largest economic and political action.

The newspaper “Birobidzhan Star” (12+) wrote about the regional rally of members of school forestry and young friends of nature (6+), held in Birobidzhan.
“More than a hundred young naturalists took part in the rally. At first they were engaged in sections, then demonstrated their knowledge and skills.
The contest of the Blue Patrols (6+) was very interesting. The guys showed deep knowledge of ichthyology – they confidently gave biological characteristics to various breeds of fish, aquatic plants. In this competition, the winner was a detachment from the village of Nikolaevka, where the commander of Galina Kuleshova.
“Green Patrols” did not disappoint on the rally. The task was given to them – to correctly calculate the need for cuttings and seeds with various methods of planting and sowing trees. The best results were shown by Bir students led by Oksana Kiyazova.
Young naturalists presented their collections, expositions from dried plants, abstracts, diaries of observations of nature, the results of experimental and research work on environmental protection. The attention of everyone was attracted by crafts from acorns, trees, dry twigs, etc. The team of the Oktyabrsky district presented the most interesting exhibits.
In the competition of school student brigades, the championship was won by students of the village of Dubovoi (foreman Marina Pronzhilova). Among nature researchers, the winner was the Birobidzhan schoolboy Sasha Danilov, Sasha Samsonov won in the competition of young zoologists, also from Birobidzhan, the Biraman residents, who were Natasha Kukhninova, were the best botanists. “
There were honorable guests at the rally. The honored Forestry of the RSFSR Ivan Ivanovich Novoselov, a pilot-observer of the Far Eastern air base for the protection of forests from fires, Yakov Nikolaevich Churin, spoke to the guys. The participants in the rally accepted the appeal to the schoolchildren of the region, in which there are such words: “We will actively teach all the guys a careful attitude to their native nature, fight with those who break the trees, burns bonfires in the wrong place, and poach.
“… The red -lumpled detachments of young foresters bring a lot of benefits to their native nature. They guard the old ones and grow new forests, patronize their inhabitants. There are many glorious affairs in the account of the fighters of” blue patrols ” – the sentinels of our region are greatly helped by children to the workers of the fishing inspection, fight the poaconers. Sands of” green Patrols “decorate their native places with gardens, alleys, flower beds. Educational and production brigades work in the fields of the region-the reserve of agricultural workers. I.V.
