A large fire broke out on Sunday night at a hall in a logistics park located on the A1 highway, in Giurgiu county. The fire included the roof, the photovoltaic panels mounted on the building, as well as the interior of the warehouse, according to the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Giurgiu.
“The fire is manifested with large smoke releases, both at the roof and inside the hall,” said ISU Giurgiu. In order to extinguish the fire, crews from ISU Giurgiu and ISU Bucharest-Ilfov act.
On the spot were mobilized, in dynamic, 12 extinguishing vehicles, two special vehicles for intervention and rescue from height, a special vehicle equipped with hydroperfining facility, two tanks, an unloading and a SMURD ambulance. In support, a special vehicle with robots was sent.
“The situation is constantly monitored, and the risk assessment is dynamic,” the authorities say.
Due to dense smoke, the authorities issued RO-Allert message for Joița, Bolintin-Deal, Bolintin Vale, Florești-Stoenești, Cosoba, Săbăreni and Ulmi.
According to the authorities, until now, no victims or surprised persons have been reported inside the hall.
