The Mike Lynch billionaire, 59 years old, and his 18 -year -old daughter, were aboard the ship when she sank, in August 2024, in the depths of the Mediterranean.

The ship that sank as a result of a storm offshore last year, causing the death of seven people, including Mike Lynch and his teenage daughter, while nine other crew members and six guests were saved, according to The Guardian.

The interior of the 56 -meter superiah below the Bayesian Bayesian flag, estimated at $ 40 million in New York Times, was finally revealed, after being lifted from the sea, at a recovery operation that started in May, writes The Irish Sun.

The first images inside the Bayesian superiach appeared in the Italian press. The 56 -meter 56 meter ship has been raised from the bottom of the sea near Porticello last week and taken to the port of Termini imerese, where it is examined by investigators trying to determine how and why it sank.

Four photographs, obtained by the Rai Italian public post, shows the damage suffered by Bayesian and its formerly luxurious interior. One of the reception areas of the ship is covered by mud, with upholstered sofas and chairs being broken and stained.

Another image shows an open hatch that leads down from the deck, while a lateral view of the body of the ship and one of its propeller reveals some of the mud accumulated during the 10 months spent under waves.

Bayesian was anchored near Porticello port when he sank during a violent storm, shortly before the sunrise, on August 19, 2024. Lynch was enjoying a trip around Sicilia with his family and a few friends, celebrating his payment in a long-term process for fraud in the technology, to the Seller's Seller 2011.

Investigators hope that the boat will provide clues about the causes of diving. A forensic expertise will try to determine if one of the hatches has remained open and if the keel has been improperly raised.

According to a preliminary safety report published last month by Marine In Crubting Investigation Branch (MAIB) in the UK, the Superiah Bayesian could have been vulnerable to strong winds when sailing with the engine on. These “vulnerabilities” were “unknown to both the owner and the crew”, because they were not included in the stability manual on board.

MAIB said a possible “tornado” was headed to the boats in the port. The docks seem to deviate the whirlwind, which directed directly to Bayesian, and the ship sank in seconds.

Prosecutors opened an investigation for guilty murder. The captain of the ship, James Cutfield, New Zealand, and two members of the British crew, Tim Parker Eaton and Matthew Griffiths, are investigated. In Italy, this does not involve guilt and does not mean that official accusations will be formulated.

The UK investigation is investigating the death of Mike and Hannah Lynch, as well as banker Jonathan Bloomer and his wife, Judey.

The complex saving operation of the Bayesian ship was temporarily suspended in mid -May, after Rob Cornelis Maria Huijben, a 39 -year -old Dutch diver died during the operation.
