PiS chose the president for the next term


Jarosław Kaczyński was re -elected the president of Law and Justice on Saturday. Voting took place during VII Congress of Law and Justice, which takes place in Przysucha. During the Congress, over 1,500 delegates choose the most important party bodies for the next term, including President and the political council of the grouping. 1214 delegates voted for Jarosław Kaczyński, according to PAP.
– This is a great commitment, but you have made – I do not hide it – some risk. I am already years old, I have nothing to hide, but I believe that I can do it, but I can only manage to you – said Kaczyński after the vote.
– We have to give advice because Poland must change. This black period, which we are currently experiencing, although the sun is already appearing, it must end – said the PiS leader.
Jarosław Kaczyński has been the president of PiS continuously since January 2003. He replaced his brother, later President of the Republic of Poland Lech Kaczyński, who-as the first president of the party-managed the group in 2001-2003.
