The head of the US defense department Pete HegeSeth said during the Wednesday NATO summit that the FBI initiated an investigation into the leakage of assessments of the effectiveness of American aviation attacks on Iranian nuclear installations – said the daily Wall Street Journal.

HegeSeth referred to the information revealed by the media that the Military Intelligence Agency assessed that bombing the goals in Iran did not withdraw the Tehran nuclear program for summer, but only a month.
The head of the Pentagon emphasized that the assessment was initial and intended for “internal use”. He also accused journalists, assessing that “CNN and others are trying to change the case so as to put the president in a bad light while a huge success was achieved,” said The Hill.
President Donald Trump himself said that reports that minimize the impact of surgery are evidence of disrespect. “It was an incredible success,” he said.
Speaking at the NATO summit, Trump said that Iran should not try to rebuild his nuclear program, and suggested that the US could hit Iran again – the portal emphasized. (PAP)
