A City Hall throws 400,000 euros on seven days of concerts with Manelists, in full budget crisis
Cernavoda City Hall, at the helm of which is Liviu Negoiță, spends hundreds of thousands of euros to organize the days of the city 2025, on August 11-17. The mayor brings to the locals, on stage, famous manelists.

Dani Mocanu, Vali Vijelie, Nicolae Guță, Costel Biju or Sandu Ciorbă are among the 25 soloists and bands that the Liberal Mayor Liviu Negoiță wants to bring on the seven days of concerts, according to Info Sud East. The mayor was sentenced in February 2025 to 4 years in prison with execution, by a decision of the Constanta Court which is not final.
The expenses to organize the days of Cernavoda 2025 are estimated at 400,000 euros.
It should be remembered that Dani Mocanu composed, last year, a Manea for the PNL candidate, Nicolae Ciucă, in the first round, and another for Nicușor Dan, at the presidential elections of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also supported by liberals.
Nicolae Guță also noticed, in the past, with an electoral composition: a dedicated song of the former PSD chief, Liviu Dragnea.
Budget crisis
The exorbitant expenses take place in a year that Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan estimates as a difficult one.
“I am aware of the great responsibility that I assume, due to the difficult situation in which our country is, as an effect of the long budgetary crisis.
We recall that the mayor of Cernavoda, Liviu Cristian Negoiță, was sued by DNA Constanța on the charge of abuse in service because during the period 2017-2019 he approved, without compliance with the legal provisions, a number of 33 ordinances from the Cernavoda City Hall, by which the payment of the amount of 9.790 Sports Club “Axiopolis Sport Cernavoda”.
