A child involved in the accident is still at ATI, and the chances of survival are minimal

Sources of the Sports Gazette of the Grigore Alexandrescu Hospital revealed the health of the second child seriously injured in the accident.

It is still in serious condition at ATI, in a coma, and breathes assisted by the equipment. It seems that he passed through the window and arrived on the field after the accident.

Doctors took out pieces of window in front and body. The child suffered a fracture of frontal bone with flooding, plus jaw crack and deep wounds.

He was resuscitated for 30 minutes in the helicopter, on the way to the hospital, and still at the Emergency Institute he reached. It suffered a high brain hypoxia, which is why doctors are afraid that brain activity could be drastically affected, if not permanently.

At this moment, only signs of life are expected from him, but the chances are minimal.

Marius Coman, the coach who died at the age of only 23, was sitting on the front places of the bus. It seems that the accident was caused by an explosion of a rubber.

𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐥𝐢𝐧, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐬! The Romanian basketball federation leaves its forehead in front of an incomprehensible loss. The young trainer Marius Coman did not reach where he dreamed: among the children, on the playing field, in the heart of the competition. He left us on the way to the national Babybaschet sports competition in Costinești, the place where he would have put his soul, as always, to guide the little ones with love and discipline.

A young man left, illuminated by passion, devotion and gentleness. He left behind a heartbreaking pain, a voiceless team and a hard -tried family. We are with everything we can be, by everyone involved in the accident: children, parents, colleagues, coaches.

We are constantly in direct connection with the medical authorities and teams. We do everything that is about us so that this deep wound will not leave other traces. In the name of the entire community of the Romanian basketball, we send condolences to Marius's family and a thought of light. Rest in peace!
