Zielnski visiting Great Britain to “deepen defensive cooperation”

According to the high -ranking Ukrainian official during the visit, Zelanski met with King Karol, the prime minister of Great Britain Keir Starmer and the chairmen of both chambers of parliament – Lindsay Hoyl and Lord John McFalle.
In an interview with journalists, Zelanski spokesman said that the main goal of the visit is to “deepen defense cooperation” between the two countries.
Zielnski will also meet with Ukrainian soldiers currently undergoing training in Great Britain and will conduct talks with representatives of British Think-Tanks.
Zełent's visit to London precedes his planned participation in the upcoming NATO summit in Hague, where he is to continue to press on greater involvement in the support of Ukraine's security.
On Monday, Zelanski condemned the last fatal rocket and drone attack of Russia on Kiev, blaming the “Coalition of murderers” for spreading the terror – Russia, Iran and North Korea.
According to local authorities, at least seven people were killed in Kiev, and another person died in a white church after Russian rockets and Iranian Shahid drones hit the residential districts at night.
The attack caused the destruction of civil infrastructure in four districts of Kiev, leaving behind destroyed buildings and debris, which are removed by rescue teams.
Zelanski warned that people living near Russia, Iran and North Korea should seriously consider whether they are safe if this alliance continues to expand their terror campaign.
Zelanski also pointed out that although Russia had previously condemned the attacks on Iranian nuclear objects, Moscow was silent after conducting what he called a cynical attack using Iranian drones and Russian rockets for civil purposes in Kiev and other cities.
Zelanski said that Ukraine would cooperate with his partners to agree on new, more decisive steps to stop such attacks and increase pressure on Russia.
– Today, during my visit to Great Britain, I will talk about our defense – how it should become the basis of much stronger collective security. We will also agree on new, decisive steps to increase the pressure on Russia and stop these attacks – said Zelanski.
The attack took place less than a week after one of the most tragic strikes this year on Kiev, when on June 17 the Russian ballistic missile destroyed part of the residential building in the Sołomiański region in the capital, killing 28 people.
