Traffic restrictions this night on DN 1, at the entrance to Bucharest. Works are being done for the metro network connection with Otopeni Airport

Road traffic will be restricted, starting from Friday night to Saturday, on DN 1, at the entrance to Bucharest and on several streets in the area, as works for the subway network are held with the “Henri Coandă” International Airport.

According to the Infotrafic Center of the Romanian Police, quoted by News.ro, from midnight from Friday to Saturday, the road traffic will be restricted on the following road sectors:

– DN 1, the section between the kilometers 14+185 – 14+345, the meaning of entry into Bucharest, band 1.

– Access from DN 1 to 23 August (DJ 100), on both directions. Thus, the car access on 23 August street will be provided through Oituz Street, respectively the intersection of DN 1/ Oituz Street – Floare de Cais street – 23 August street (Otopeni locality).

In order to ensure access from Otopeni to DN 1, the traffic of the vehicles will be made through Floarea de Cais – Polonă street, as well as through Traian – Oituz Street – Mărăşeşti Street.

– the adjacent road that provides the relationship between DN 1 and Flăarea de Cais Street, from the immediate vicinity of the street August 23, so access to the parking space of the buildings to be insured from Floare de Cais street (Otopeni locality).

On the direction of Ploieşti – Bucharest, works will be performed to expand the road, so that the road traffic will be restricted on the band 1 of this sense.

The measures are necessary for the proper conduct of the works regarding the connection of the subway network with the “Henri Coandă” International Airport – Magistral 6 – 1 May Otopeni, mentions the Infotrafic Center.
