CFR Cluj announced that he transferred to the Ivorian striker Valentin Serebe to FC Ballkani, in Kosovo.

Serebe, now 22 years old, signed with CFR Cluj in the summer of 2023, then brought from his native country.

Sent to the “satellite” of the club, subsequently borrowed at CSU Alba Iulia, the ivorian debuted to the first team of the CFR only in January 2024. He gathered only 26 minutes for the team in Gruia, out of 4 appearances.

Valentin Serebe, permanently transferred to FC Ballkani

In January 2025, CFR sent Serebe to FC Ballkani, the Kosovo team with which he has done business in recent years. The ivorian impressed in Kosovo, with two goals in 366 minutes, so FC Ballkani sought to transfer it permanently.

The clubs beat the palm, and CFR Cluj announced the transfer tonight:

“Thank you, Valentin Serebe! CFR 1907 Cluj and FC Ballkani clubs have reached an agreement on the permanent transfer of the striker Valentin Serebe to the Kosovian band. In this way we wish him much success in his career!”

  • CFR Cluj carried out the last training in the country today, before leaving for Austria, where Dan Petrescu's students will prepare the new season and will dispute, according to the club, “some verification parties”.
