Polish debt is approaching PLN 2 trillions. Only in May 22 billion arrived

At the end of May 2025, the debt of the Treasury amounted to approx. PLN 1 trillion PLN 772.5 billion, which meant an increase of PLN 22.1 billion (1.3 percent) in relation to the end of April – according to the estimated data of the Ministry of Finance published on Friday.

“According to preliminary estimated data, the SP debt at the end of May 2025 amounted to approx. PLN 1,772.5 billion, which meant an increase of PLN 22.1 billion (+1.3 percent) m/m” – the Ministry of Finance said on Friday.

MF indicated that the value of the domestic debt at the end of May amounted to PLN 1 trillion PLN 396.1 billion, and the foreign debt was of approx. PLN 376.4 billion, which is 21.2 percent. State Treasury debt. (PAP)
