Corps. 18 key phrases that you must know to communicate effectively in business

Do not confuse with the accountant, or Accountant. Account is basically an abbreviation of “Account Manager”, or “customer guardian”. In practice, a person who deals with acquiring and taking care of clients. There are several varieties of this position, depending on the position in the hierarchy: it can be Junior Account, Senior Account, but also, for example, Key Account – that is, the guardian of key clients for the company.
Accept, approval. If you got it, it means that you have completed a form well and you can, for example, get a new mouse.
Asap
As Soon as Possible – literally means “as soon as possible”. In practice, ASAP is usually simply “for now, and preferably yesterday”. Who did not get a task from the boss with the note ASAP, he has not yet met a heavy corpo-life.
Brainstorm
Polish brainstorming. Each team must “break” if they want to be creative and have results. At least in theory. The English version is simply shorter, both in pronunciation and writing, so it is easier to use, e.g. in emails.

Brief
Description of the project or a given case to settle. It can also be developed to the briefing form, i.e. a meeting where someone informs us what and how it looks in a given case. A beautiful expression was also created from this “to miss” – that is, simply to inform someone about the state of affairs.
Boat
Just management, so fortunately the word is rarely used.
Case
From English “Case”, here: a business example or a project to be done. Specific cases – examples – can be discussed at a meeting, e.g. a successful marketing campaign (“But interesting case!”). You can also get a case to do (project) and then it is better not to have “fakap”.

Feedback
Response, feedback. This usually means an assessment of our achievements.
Fuck up
In Poland, this was Polish for “Fakap”. To put it mildly, “Fakap” is a slip -up or crisis. The last word you ever want to hear – whether in the context of assessing your work or upcoming tasks. “Fakap” strangely successfully appears in one sentence with “ASAP”.
Fyi
For your information, i.e. for your information. Most often, this shortcut appears in emails.

Milestone
The key point of the project, often at the same time a long -term goal for employees. For example: only when you achieve a given milestone will you get a bonus.
OpenSpace

The target group, recipient of our work/project. Both media, advertising creators and banks have their targets – indeed, every product, whether clothes or a new type of telecommunications service, usually has its own target.
Workflow
It may as well mean how we work and the atmosphere at work. When everything goes like blood from the nose, then there is a weak workflow. If we finished the project before Deadlin and there was no fakap – it means that Workflow was great.
