The police in Caracal opened an investigation after a doctor at the Municipal Hospital had a verbal conflict with a patient, and the replica exchange degenerated. The doctor is accused of a woman of throwing water over her.

“On June 18, 2025, around 13.40, the police officers of the Olt County Police Inspectorate were notified, by call 112, regarding an incident in the Caracal Municipal Hospital, in which a woman and a medical framework were involved.” explained the spokesman of IPJ Olt, Claudiu Şerban.
“An exchange of insult would have taken place, and the medical framework would have thrown with water on the woman.”
Police officers from the Caracal Municipality Police, in order to carry out checks, went to the hospital.
“From the first researches it turned out that, against the background of a spontaneous conflict, between a 51 -year -old woman and a doctor from the medical unit there would have been an exchange of insults, and the medical framework would have thrown water on the woman.” Claudiu Şerban says.
Police officers opened a criminal investigation file
In this case, a criminal case was drawn up in the aspect of committing the crime of abusive behavior, a fact stipulated and punished by the Criminal Code.
“The research is continued under the supervision of the competent parquet unit, in order to accurately establish the circumstances in which the incident was produced,” said IPJ Olt representative, ” explains IPJ Olt spokesman.
According to sources quoted by Gazeta Nouă, the doctor would have brought the patient racist offenses and threatened to take her out of the hospital, and the doctor would not be in the first incident.
We recall that, last year, an investigation was opened at the Sibiu County Emergency Clinical Hospital, after a surgeon was accused by colleagues that “Patients under the influence of alcoholic beverages are presented and treated.”
Investigated following the accusations, the surgeon escaped without sanction, although 10 colleagues had signed a petition against him.
