Residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory accumulated more than 700 billion rubles in deposits

Residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory store more than 700 billion rubles on deposits. This was told in the regional branch of the Bank of Russia.

From January to April 2025, residents of the region replenished deposits (without escrow accounts) for 31 billion rubles. Thus, at the end of April there were 714 billion rubles on deposits. Nevertheless, the growth rate of deposits slowed down. According to the bank, in 2024 over the same period, the volume of deposits increased by 42 billion rubles. This is a third more than in 2025.

“Krasnoyarsk residents use a period of high rates for accumulation and preserving money from inflationary influence. We see a slowdown of the flow of money to deposits. This is affected by the trend that began in 2025 to reduce deposits. However, today you can still open a contribution to 18-20 %. At the same time, inflation this year, according to our forecast, will continue to slow down more than two times lower and further, ”said Sergey Zhuravlev, manager of the Bank of Russia Krasnoyarsk Bank.

Note that by the end of May the ten largest banks lowered the maximum interest rate to a half -year minimum. It amounted to 19.5 %, which is 2.2 %less than at the beginning of the year (21.7 %).

Recall that recently the Bank of Russia six months later reduced the key rate by one percent.
