Money for so -called pear holidays is paid as part of the company Social Benefits Fund. However, not every plant has such a fund – according to the regulations, employers employing at least 50 full -time employees, as well as budgetary and local government budgetary establishments, regardless of the number of employees employed. If the company employs less than 50 people, the fund is created at the request of the trade union organization.

Holidays under the pear – here's who can use
The holidays under the pear – if they operate in a given plant – can be used by both employees and their family members, as well as former employees – retirees and pensioners, their families and other people who the employer enabled the use of ZFSS funds, e.g. in the fund's regulations. He usually regulates the amount and frequency of payments for holidays under the pear – the exact amounts are calculated on the basis of the employee's statement about his property and family situation.
Where can you go as part of holidays under the pear?
The number of days for which the employee may receive a benefit for holidays under the pear is also varied and depends on the regulations of the Company Social Benefits Fund in force in a given company. Usually it is from a few to several days during the calendar year. It is important to remember that it does not really matter if we use vacation in the summer or winter and whether we go on vacation anywhere. There is full freedom here – funds for holidays under the pear can be granted to relax in the country or abroad. We can choose any type of rest, e.g. a hotel stay, guest house, agritourism farm, or traveling on a trip, but we can also stay at home.

How to apply for holidays under the pear?
Remember to submit an appropriate application for a benefit – the holiday application itself is not sufficient for the employee to get money for holidays under the pear – to pay them, it is necessary to submit an application for their payment. When the money is paid, it depends on the policy of the plant. It is very often the case that the employee finances his holidays under the pear and only after returning from vacation he receives a benefit.
Factors affecting the amount of co -financing
As we have already mentioned – holidays under the pear do not have a predetermined amount. How much an employee gets depends on the earnings of both his and his family members. Work experience, qualifications or position held is not influenced. The net amount of co -financing for holidays under the pear is really on the company's policy, the state of funds in the Company Social Benefits Fund and the individual situation of the employee. It is only certain that the employer cannot pay the same amount to everyone. It must be awarded, for example, on the basis of employees' earnings or the amount per person in the household. Therefore, employees with the worst financial situation will receive the greatest financial support. Important – holidays under the pear are exempt from personal income tax up to PLN 1,000. It is also worth mentioning that ZUS contributions are not charged from the amount of the benefit.
Not only the employee, but also the employer benefits on holidays under the pear
Holidays under the pear – in addition to additional funds we receive from the employer – also have other positive qualities. Thanks to them, the company shapes its positive image as an employer who cares for the health and rest of employees. It can manage more effectively and better plan your work, because employees plan and use a longer vacation. It prevents workaholism and professional burning. The company also gains more motivated employees.
In turn, when it comes to an employee, thanks to holidays under a pear, vacation costs less, it can plan a larger budget, e.g. for a trip and can plan a longer vacation, which is why he relaxes longer (a lower risk of workaholism or professional burnout).
Vacation benefit is different
The concept of holidays under the pear is often confused with a holiday benefit. Remember, however, that these are two different concepts whose conditions are completely different. First of all, the holiday benefit is voluntary and is not paid from the Social Benefits Fund. It is entitled to employees who use uninterrupted 14 days (including weekends) of holidays. Only employees, not former employees or families are entitled to employees. It can be paid only once a year, at the latest before the employee starts vacation leave. It cannot exceed the amount of the basic copy.
