Shocking case. A 41-year-old Romanian was caught when he sacrificed sheep in an apartment rented in Berlin, the capital of Germany. The animals had been stolen from a natural park of the country.

A local from Friedrichshagener Street, from the Berlin district Köpenick, noticed how three sheep were transported from an apartment. A few minutes later, in the middle of the night, screams are heard from an apartment. But not people were shouting for help, according to Bild.

Concerned by the suspicious behavior and the fact that the transport of animals did not seem to be carried out under normal conditions, the witness alerted the authorities.

Shortly thereafter, the officers arrived at the door of the apartment of a 41 -year -old man in Romania and made a macabre discovery. Inside, the police discovered two sheep that had been slaughtered, and in the bathroom, a third sheep, still in life, in a visible state of stress.

The animal was saved and subsequently transported by Berlin firefighters to a safe place, where he received care from the veterinary authorities.

There were signs that the animals suffered and were mistreated before death. It seems that the animals were intended for consumption. In the apartment, the officers also met two members of the family of the alleged perpetrator.

The man is now investigated. The police suspect him to receive stolen goods and violation of the law on animal welfare and investigate an unknown person under the suspicion of theft.
