The teams that will be present at the World Club Championship have had an additional period of ten -day transfers to strengthen for the US tour.
Manchester City leads detached in the top of the expenses for the World Club Championship, with an amount estimated at 127 million euros. The period of additional transfers, held between June 1 and 10, brought some news. Only 11 of the 32 participating clubs did not register new purchases. City brought Bettinelli, Ait-nouri, Reijnders and Cherki.
The top of the teams that spent the most for the World Club Championship
In second place, another representative of Premier League: Chelsea confirmed on Dario Essugo, Sarr and Delap. Real Madrid completes the podium, with the transfers of Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen. The 4th place is occupied by Inter, the team led by Cristian Chivu, with 2 transfers: Luis Henrique and Petar Sucic.
Botafogo ranks sixth in the acquisition ranking, with Arthur Cabral (from Benfica), Cristhian Loor, Alvaro Montoro, Kio Pantalea and Joaquín Correa. FC Porto transferred only to Gabri Veiga, but the midfielder was enough to propel “dragons” in the seventh place in the top of the expenses, according to Abola.P.

Benfica, like 10 other clubs, did not record any transfer. Al Hilal, Pachuca, Flamego, Inter Miami and Ulsan received new players, but without transfer costs, so they do not appear in the table above. Even with low expenses, Al Ain was the team with the most purchases, followed by Al Ahly.
The transfer period in Europe opens from July 1, but FIFA has decided to offer 10 days in June so that the teams participating in the World Club Championship can be reinforced. The organization decided to offer “free” at transfers a few days after the end of the groups at Club World Cup 2025.
The Format of the World Club Championship 2025
