Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who was present at the opening of the new Mesko production hall, emphasized at X that the arms investments do not apply only to Skarżysko-Kamienna.
-We have investigated not only here in Skarżysko-Kamienna, but everywhere in Poland billions of zlotys, so that what the Polish army gets and what we can also sell outside is getting better-said Donald Tusk.
He also added that what is created in Poland is “a very modern weapon that the whole world beats about.”
As Rzeczpospolita reminds, according to the original plans, the whole “project 400” was to be completed in 2022. Several factors, including Pandemia, a radical price increase and war in Ukraine, contributed to the delay.
