Flamego has already gone to the United States where the World Club Championship will participate. The supporters were present in large numbers at Galeao Airport, but the holiday turned into chaos and confrontations with the military police, which used grenades, tear gas and rubber bullets.

Flamengo has four workouts scheduled before the debut against Espรฉrance Tunis, on Tuesday, June 17, from 04:00. In the second stage, Chelsea will face, and the last opponent in the group stage is FC Los Angeles.

All about CM of clubs 2025: 32 teams
Between June 13 and July 14, the most important football event of summer will take place, the first edition of the World Club Champion in its new format (More details here). Starting with 2025, FIFA inaugurates a new format, with 32 teams that will be divided into eight groups of four, and the rules are similar to the final world championship tournaments for national teams.
The first two ranked in each group will advance in the finals, after which the quarters, the semifinals and the final will follow, all of which will be decided in a single leg. 63 matches will be played in total, on 12 stadiums in the US, and the last act will take place on July 13, on Metlife Stadium in New York.
South America will also have a strong presence at the US tour. Six tradition clubs will try to pose problems to the borders of Europe, including the last four winners of Copia Libertadores-Palmeiras (2021), Flamego (2022), Fluminense (2023) and Botafogo (2024). They will be joined by River Plate and Boca Juniors, the teams with the best coefficient Conmebol.
